Dear Tim, I hope the attached photos, taken this morning, give you an idea about what I described in yesterday's e-mail. The two granite posts are actually kerb stones from the entrance to the field. These, along with many attractive granite rocks from the excavations necessary to form the new field, were heading for landfill. We thought it better to use them on site. The two lions will be placed near the granite posts at the main entrance to the garden area. Expect 'mission completed' photos before too long! Kind regards, Roger. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Tim, Please find attached the latest photos of the stone lions, table and seats purchased with the Class of '87 gift. The area is 'officially' open today, the 35th Earth Day. There is still work to be done in the planting of suitable shrubs and plants, though there are already orchids in the trees and plants giving diverse forms, textures and scents. We will be planting more native species to attract butterflies. I hope that the KGV website will show these photos and more to celebrate Earth Day 2005. Keep in touch! Kind regards, Roger.
