Obviously, there are many considerations; however, I trend toward a preference to stay back to get hit loose in his home board rather than getting hit loose in the outfield -- that way I at least get some direct returns.

Rollouts say that in some cases a firing-squad play is right and in other cases it is not. Which is which? That's for you to sort out.
