World's incorrect 14-away/8-away pass: Some recubes

For some time I have been wondering how to get GNU to save the full details of all the games that it produces when doing a rollout. I thank Stick for showing me how to do this. The commands are "set rollout log on" and "set rollout logfile logfilename".

For my first attempt to exercise this newfound ability, I decided to try rolling out that famous position from Denmark vs. the World, and examining the results to see what kind of recubes the World might have gotten had it decided to take.

Out of the first 50 sample games, I found that the World (White) got a recube in 16 of them (shown below, with passes first and then takes). The basic message seems to be that White's racing equity is nothing to be scoffed at. Most interesting to me are the redouble/take positions where White is threatening to hop a 5-prime.

Hopefully this helps shed some light on where the World's recube vig comes from in this position.
